Bomb Blast Mitigation
Blast Mitigation, also known as bomb mitigation are forms of defence to protect people, facilities and assets by decreasing or preventing the effects of a bomb blast, such as fragmentation.
PAXCON Blast Mitigation PX3350, is a spray applied protective coatings that has been designed to mitigate the effects of an explosion by containing the fragmented pieces, that cause a huge 80% of injuries during a bomb blast.
PAXCON can be spray applied on to buildings preventing walls from falling down during a bomb blast. This is illustrated in video footage of PAXCON being tested by AFRL on 8ft walls. Watch the blast video here.
